Local Raw Honey
Our honey is made by locally raised bees of both the Italian and Carniolan lineage. Much of the nectar for our honey comes from apple blossoms which bud off the orchards bordering the property. The woods around our apiary are full of black locust trees which if an incredible nectar source for the bees in June. This gives our honey a unique flavor that other wildflower honey does not possess.
The hives for our bees are carefully crafted on site and decorated to please the eye. You won’t see any boring white hives here. The hours spent constructing homes for these miraculous creatures are a testament to the commitment to our bees.
Our Stinger Hot Honey is made using our raw, unprocessed honey. We infused with chili peppers for a sweet honey that bites back. Our medium is infused with locally grown Ghost and Carolina Reaper chili peppers while our mild is infused with Habanero chili peppers. Whether you’re looking for a little heat or something to wow your friends, Stinger is the hot honey for you!

Honey by the Pound
Honey bees travel up to 3 miles from their hive and visit over 2 million flowers to make a single pound of honey.
We offer Stinger and Raw Honey in two sizes year round. For special orders, whether it’s bulk honey or smaller sizes for wedding favors or gift baskets, we take orders starting in August though our harvest in October.

HONEYBEE SWARMS
In the spring and early summer, some hives will produce a new queen and attempt to start a new colony. The old queen will leave with half the workers from the hive and look for new residence, this is called a swarm. Oftentimes, you can find this cluster of bees clinging to a tree branch or in the bushes while scouts venture off to find a suitable new home. These swarms will typically relocate before nightfall although sometimes it can take longer for the colony to find a new home. If you see a swarm, do not panic! Simply contact us and we will gladly rehome the ladies free of charge! ![]() |
